We are currently working with a supportive and inclusive primary school in Brackley who are looking to appoint an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join their team from September 2026. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about early years education and supporting children as they begin their educational journey.
The role will involve working within Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and Key Stage 1 (KS1), providing dedicated support to pupils academically, socially, and emotionally while helping to create a positive, engaging, and nurturing learning environment.
The Role
Supporting teachers during lessons, activities, and classroom routines across EYFS and KS1
Working with children on a 1:1 basis or in small groups to support their learning and development
Helping children develop early literacy, numeracy, communication, and social skills
Supporting pupils with additional needs, including SEND, to access learning and build confidence
Assisting with classroom organisation and creating a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment
Encouraging children's independence, curiosity, and enthusiasm for learning
Supporting children's emotional wellbeing and helping them develop positive relationships

Has experience working with children through schools, nurseries, childcare, volunteering, coaching, or support roles (desirable but not essential)
