We are working in partnership with a forward-thinking secondary school in Brackley that is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Science Teacher from September 2026 on a full-time, long-term supply basis. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established Science department that values teamwork, high expectations, and engaging, practical-based learning.

About the Role

  • Deliver engaging Science lessons across KS3 and KS4

  • Plan and deliver structured lessons that build scientific knowledge and curiosity

  • Use practical experiments and investigations to enhance learning

  • Assess, monitor, and track student progress effectively

  • Provide clear feedback to support pupil achievement and development

  • Differentiate lessons to meet the needs of all learners

  • Support curriculum delivery within the Science department

  • Contribute to a positive and focused learning environment

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to share resources and best practice

We're Looking For

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) or equivalent teaching qualification

  • Specialism in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or General Science

  • Strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for Science education

  • Ability to engage, motivate, and challenge students of all abilities

  • Confident classroom management skills with a consistent approach

  • A team player who contributes positively to department life

  • ECTs are welcome and will be fully supported in the role
