We are working in partnership with a forward-thinking secondary school in Brackley that is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Science Teacher from September 2026 on a full-time, long-term supply basis. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established Science department that values teamwork, high expectations, and engaging, practical-based learning.
About the Role
Deliver engaging Science lessons across KS3 and KS4
Plan and deliver structured lessons that build scientific knowledge and curiosity
Use practical experiments and investigations to enhance learning
Assess, monitor, and track student progress effectively
Provide clear feedback to support pupil achievement and development
Differentiate lessons to meet the needs of all learners
Support curriculum delivery within the Science department
Contribute to a positive and focused learning environment
Work collaboratively with colleagues to share resources and best practice
We're Looking For
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) or equivalent teaching qualification
Specialism in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or General Science
Strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for Science education
Ability to engage, motivate, and challenge students of all abilities
Confident classroom management skills with a consistent approach
A team player who contributes positively to department life
ECTs are welcome and will be fully supported in the role
