Supply Teacher - Chesham, Buckinghamshire
Looking for flexibility without stepping away from the classroom?
Schools throughout Chesham, Buckinghamshire are recruiting a Supply Teacher to support learning across Primary, Secondary, SEN and Alternative Provision settings. This is an excellent opportunity for qualified educators who enjoy working in different environments while concentrating on delivering engaging lessons and supporting pupil achievement.
Rather than taking work home, you'll teach lessons that have already been prepared, manage behaviour positively and ensure learning continues throughout the school day. Subject specialist placements are available, alongside opportunities covering a broad range of curriculum areas.
Responsibilities
  • Deliver lessons in line with the school's expectations.
  • Encourage participation and maintain a positive learning environment.
  • Adapt teaching approaches to suit different classes.
  • Promote continued pupil progress during teacher absence.
  • Build positive relationships with pupils and school staff.
  • Maintain high standards of behaviour and engagement.
Requirements
Experience working with children and young people is essential. Applicants should be confident leading classes, demonstrate effective classroom management and be comfortable adapting to different educational settings. A flexible, professional approach and genuine enthusiasm for education are key to success in this role.
