Nursery Educator

Shepshed, Leicestershire Full-Time | Permanent £12.90 - £13.40 per hour

A highly regarded nursery in Shepshed is seeking a caring and enthusiastic Nursery Educator to join their friendly team. This beautiful setting provides a warm, home-from-home environment where children are encouraged to explore, discover and develop through play-based learning every day.

You'll become an important part of each child's journey, supporting their development, building strong relationships with families and helping to create meaningful learning experiences that inspire confidence, independence and curiosity.

The Role

As a Nursery Educator, you will:

  • Plan and deliver engaging activities that support children's learning and development.
  • Observe, assess and record children's progress.
  • Support children's personal care and daily routines.
  • Create learning opportunities throughout the day, from mealtimes to outdoor play.
  • Build strong relationships with children, parents and colleagues.
  • Ensure a safe, stimulating and inclusive environment.
  • Promote children's wellbeing, confidence and independence.

What We're Looking For

To be successful, you'll ideally have:

  • A Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification.
  • Previous experience working within an Early Years setting.
  • Knowledge of the EYFS framework.
  • A genuine passion for supporting children's development.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • A positive, caring and proactive approach.
