Teaching Assistants Wanted - Salford & Manchester

We are currently recruiting enthusiastic and committed Teaching Assistants for a range of primary schools across Salford and Manchester. With day-to-day, short-term and long-term opportunities available, supply work offers excellent flexibility, allowing you to choose the days and types of roles that work best for you.

Whether you are looking to gain more school experience, return to education, work around other commitments, or find a long-term position, we can offer opportunities to suit your experience and availability.

We are interested in candidates with experience working with children in a range of settings, including:

* Previous school-based experience as a Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant or similar
* Experience within a children's home, PRU or specialist provision
* EYFS practitioners
* Foster carers, and complex needs support workers
* Speech and Language Therapists
* Candidates with a Level 3 or Level 4 qualification in education, childcare or a related field
* Candidates with Team Teach or similar behaviour management training

The successful candidates will:

* Support teachers with the delivery of engaging learning activities
* Provide one-to-one and small-group support, including for pupils with SEND
* Help create a positive, safe and inclusive classroom environment
* Support pupils with their academic, social and emotional development
* Promote positive behaviour and encourage pupil independence
* Adapt support to meet individual pupils' needs
* Build positive relationships with pupils and school staff
* Contribute positively to the wider school community
