The Role

As a Supply Primary Teacher in Sheffield, you will:

• Deliver engaging and creative lessons across a range of year groups within primary schools.
• Follow school planning and adapt teaching approaches to meet the needs of all pupils.
• Create a positive, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment.
• Support pupils' academic progress, confidence and personal development.
• Manage classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policies.
• Build positive relationships with pupils, staff and school communities.
• Provide continuity of learning and maintain high expectations in the absence of the class teacher.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Recent experience teaching within a primary school setting.
• A strong understanding of the primary curriculum.
• Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to quickly establish positive relationships.
• A flexible and adaptable approach to working across different schools.
• A genuine passion for inspiring and supporting children to achieve their potential.

Essential Requirements:

• QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent.
• An Enhanced DBS Disclosure on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
• The right to work in the UK.
• Two satisfactory references covering the last two years.
• Recent teaching experience within a UK school setting.
