Location: Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire
Salary: £100 - £130 per day (depending on experience)

Tradewind Recruitment are currently seeking confident and enthusiastic Cover Supervisors to work across a range of welcoming secondary schools in the Milton Keynes area. This is an excellent opportunity for graduates, aspiring teachers, experienced Teaching Assistants, or individuals looking to gain valuable classroom experience within education.

As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading lessons during the short-term absence of teaching staff, ensuring students remain engaged, focused, and on task while completing pre-planned work.

The Role:

  • Supervise classes across a variety of subjects using work set by teaching staff.

  • Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies.

  • Ensure students remain engaged and complete the tasks provided.

  • Support pupils with questions and maintain a positive learning environment.

  • Provide feedback to teaching staff regarding student progress and behaviour.

  • Build positive relationships with students and staff.

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Have experience working with young people in an educational, coaching, mentoring, or support capacity.

  • Be confident managing groups of students aged 11-16.

  • Possess excellent communication and organisational skills.

  • Be adaptable, resilient, and professional.

  • Have a genuine interest in education and supporting young people's development.

  • Hold a degree or relevant experience (desirable but not essential).
