We are currently working with an established and inclusive secondary school in Milton Keynes that is looking for a motivated and caring Teaching Assistant to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis from September 2026.

You will work alongside teachers and support staff to help students engage with their learning, overcome challenges, and make positive progress throughout their school journey.

About the Role

As a Teaching Assistant, your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting teachers during lessons and helping to create an engaging learning environment
  • Providing 1:1 and small-group support to students who require additional assistance
  • Working with students with SEND and a range of individual learning needs
  • Helping students stay focused, motivated, and engaged with their education
  • Supporting pupils with literacy, numeracy, and other areas of the curriculum
  • Encouraging positive behaviour and helping students develop good learning habits
  • Assisting with classroom preparation, learning resources, and activities
  • Developing strong and supportive relationships with students
  • Helping students build confidence, independence, and resilience
  • Working closely with teaching and pastoral staff to support individual student needs
