Wraparound Care Manager
Location: Salford
Hours: Breakfast Club 7:00am-9:00am & After-School Club 3:00pm-6:00pm
Contract: Starting ASAP

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Wraparound Care Manager to join a primary school in Salford, supporting the existing manager in the successful leadership and day-to-day running of the school's Breakfast and After-School Clubs.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and enthusiastic individual who is passionate about providing high-quality care and creating a safe, fun and engaging environment for children.
The Role
As Wraparound Care Manager, you will work closely with the existing manager to support the effective running of the school's wraparound provision. You will help oversee the day-to-day operation of the Breakfast and After-School Clubs, ensuring children receive excellent care and have a positive experience before and after the school day.
The provision runs:
Breakfast Club: 7:00am - 9:00am
After-School Club: 3:00pm - 6:00pm
The successful candidate will play an important role in supporting staff, maintaining high standards of safeguarding and ensuring the provision operates smoothly and effectively.
Key Responsibilities
Support the Wraparound Care Manager with the day-to-day running of the Breakfast and After-School Clubs
Help provide a safe, stimulating and inclusive environment for all children
Support and supervise wraparound care staff
Build positive relationships with children, parents/carers and school staff
Assist with planning and delivering engaging activities
Promote positive behaviour and high standards of care
Ensure safeguarding and health & safety procedures are followed at all times
Support the manager with the smooth organisation of the provision
Contribute to maintaining a welcoming and positive environment for children before and after school
The Ideal Candidate
The school is looking for someone who:
Holds a Level 3 childcare qualification or equivalent, or above
Has experience working with primary-aged children
Has previous experience within wraparound care, childcare, schools, nurseries or a similar setting
Has strong communication and organisational skills
Is reliable, proactive and able to take initiative
Understands the importance of safeguarding and providing high-quality childcare
