Tradewind Recruitment are currently seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Science Teacher to join a welcoming secondary school in the Milton Keynes area. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced teacher or an ECT looking to secure a rewarding position within a supportive school environment.

The Role

As a Science Teacher, you will:

  • Plan and deliver engaging Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.

  • Teach students of varying abilities, adapting lessons to meet individual learning needs.

  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

  • Effectively manage behaviour and maintain high expectations.

  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing appropriate feedback.

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues within the Science department.

  • Contribute to the wider life of the school and support its values and expectations.

  • Maintain strong safeguarding and professional standards at all times.

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a Science Teacher who:

  • Holds QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification.

  • Has experience teaching Science within a secondary school setting.

  • Has strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for Science.

  • Can plan and deliver engaging and well-structured lessons.

  • Has excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.

  • Builds positive relationships with students and staff.

  • Is reliable, professional and adaptable.

  • Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
