We are working in partnership with a friendly and inclusive primary school in Corby that is seeking to appoint a committed Teaching Assistant to join their team ASAP.

The Role

  • Supporting the class teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons
  • Working with pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
  • Supporting pupils with SEND and additional learning needs where required
  • Helping pupils stay focused, engaged, and motivated throughout the school day
  • Supporting positive behaviour and contributing to a calm, nurturing classroom environment
  • Assisting with targeted interventions to support pupil progress in English and Maths
  • Encouraging pupils to develop confidence, independence, and resilience
  • Supporting classroom routines and wider pastoral needs where required
  • Working collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to ensure pupils receive the best possible support

  • Has previous experience working with children, young people, education, nursery, care, youth work, coaching, or a similar setting - desirable but not essential
