Teaching Assistant - Milton Keynes

Tradewind Recruitment are currently seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistants to work within primary and secondary schools across Milton Keynes. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about education and want to make a positive impact on the lives of young people.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting teachers and helping students achieve their full potential. You will work closely with pupils on a one-to-one basis, in small groups, and within the classroom to provide academic, emotional, and pastoral support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students in the classroom to enhance learning and engagement.

  • Provide one-to-one and small group interventions where required.

  • Assist teachers with lesson preparation and classroom management.

  • Support pupils with additional learning needs, including SEN where appropriate.

  • Encourage positive behaviour and promote a supportive learning environment.

  • Help monitor student progress and provide feedback to teaching staff.

  • Foster positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Experience working with children or young people in an educational, childcare, coaching, youth work, or support setting.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • A patient, caring, and proactive approach.

  • The ability to work effectively as part of a team.

  • A genuine passion for supporting children and young people.

  • Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant is desirable but not essential.
