SEN Teaching Assistants (x2)

NG5, Nottingham | Full-Time | Immediate Start Available

Tradewind Recruitment are currently recruiting for two dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants to join a welcoming and well-resourced SEN School in the NG5 area of Nottingham.

These full-time positions are available across both the Primary and Secondary phases, supporting pupils with a range of additional learning needs. This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced SEN professionals or individuals looking to build a rewarding career within specialist education.

The Role

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Support pupils with a variety of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)
• Work on a one-to-one and small group basis
• Help students access learning and achieve their individual targets
• Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
• Work closely with teachers, therapists, and other support staff
• Create a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for individuals who:

• Have previous experience working with children or young people with SEND
• Are patient, resilient, and nurturing in their approach
• Can build positive relationships with pupils and colleagues
• Have strong communication and teamwork skills
• Hold a DBS on the Update Service (or are willing to obtain one)
