Tradewind Recruitment are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a supportive secondary school in the Milton Keynes area. Working alongside teachers and support staff, you will provide classroom support, assist with learning activities and help create a positive and engaging learning environment for all students.

The Role:

  • Support students in the classroom across a range of subjects

  • Work with individuals and small groups to reinforce learning

  • Assist teachers with lesson preparation and classroom activities

  • Encourage student engagement, confidence and independence

  • Support students with additional learning needs where required

  • Help maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Previous experience working with children or young people is desirable

  • A positive, patient and proactive approach

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • A passion for education and supporting student development

  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
