Early Years Practitioner - Primary School - Milton Keynes

We are working with a welcoming primary school in Milton Keynes that is looking to appoint an Early Years Practitioner to join their team immediately. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about early years education and wants to contribute to a nurturing and engaging learning environment.

The school has a strong focus on creating positive experiences for young children, encouraging independence, communication, and curiosity from the very beginning of their education.

The Role

  • Support children across the Early Years Foundation Stage with their learning and development

  • Help deliver creative, engaging, and play-based activities

  • Encourage children's communication, social, emotional, and physical development

  • Observe and record children's progress in line with EYFS guidance

  • Create a safe, welcoming, and stimulating classroom environment

  • Support children with additional needs and different learning requirements

  • Build positive relationships with children, families, and school staff

  • Prepare learning resources and assist with classroom activities

  • Encourage positive behaviour, confidence, and independence

  • Work closely with the class teacher and wider Early Years team

About You

  • Hold a Level 2, Level 3, or equivalent Early Years qualification

  • Experience within a nursery, preschool, Reception, or EYFS setting is desirable

  • Have a good understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage

  • Take a patient, caring, and nurturing approach

  • Have strong communication and teamwork skills

  • Enjoy creating fun and engaging learning experiences

  • Are reliable, enthusiastic, and keen to develop professionally

  • Understand the importance of safeguarding and children's welfare

  • Hold an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or be willing to obtain one
