Tradewind Recruitment are recruiting! We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 5/6 Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Doncaster.

This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate primary teacher to join a supportive school community and make a real difference to pupils at an important stage of their primary education.

The successful candidate will be confident teaching across Upper Key Stage 2, delivering engaging and purposeful lessons while maintaining high expectations for learning, behaviour and pupil progress.

The Role

As a Year 5/6 Primary Teacher, you will:

• Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging lessons across the Upper KS2 curriculum.
• Teach a Year 5 or Year 6 class, depending on the school's requirements.
• Differentiate learning effectively to meet the needs of all pupils.
• Assess and monitor pupil progress, adapting teaching accordingly.
• Establish positive relationships with pupils and create an inclusive classroom environment.
• Maintain high standards of behaviour and promote a positive attitude towards learning.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to the wider life of the school.
• Prepare pupils effectively for the transition to secondary education where appropriate.

The Ideal Candidate

The school is looking for a teacher who:

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Has experience teaching within KS2, ideally Year 5 or Year 6.
• Is confident delivering the full primary curriculum.
• Has high expectations of attainment, progress and behaviour.
• Can quickly build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
• Is organised, adaptable and able to work effectively as part of a team.
• Is passionate about helping every child achieve their potential.
