SEN Supply Teacher - Northampton

Tradewind Recruitment are currently looking for SEN Supply Teachers to support a busy all-through SEN school in Northampton, working with children and young people with Autism and/or Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD).

As an all-through setting, the age group you support can vary, so we're looking for adaptable educators who are happy working across different stages and classes.

The role:

• Providing engaging and supportive teaching across an SEN setting
• Supporting pupils with Autism, SLD and a range of additional needs
• Adapting lessons and activities to meet individual needs
• Working closely with teaching assistants and the wider school team
• Creating a positive, structured and inclusive learning environment
• Being flexible and responsive to the needs of the school

What we're looking for:

• QTS or relevant teaching experience
• Experience working with children or young people with Autism and/or SLD
• A calm, patient and adaptable approach
• Confidence managing a busy SEN classroom
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A genuine commitment to supporting pupils with additional needs

Flexibility is key, with supply opportunities available to suit your availability. If you settle well into the school and it's a good fit for everyone, there may also be opportunities to move into long-term, full-time or temp-to-perm positions.
