Teacher of Business & ICT

Tradewind Education are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic and dedicated Teacher of Business & ICT to join a welcoming secondary school in Rotherham on a temporary basis, starting after the October half-term break.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced teacher, or an ECT looking to develop their experience, to join a supportive school and make a positive impact on students' learning and progress.

The Role

As a Teacher of Business & ICT, you will be responsible for:

• Planning and delivering engaging Business and ICT lessons across the secondary age range.

• Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.

• Supporting students to make strong academic and personal progress.

• Assessing and monitoring student progress and providing constructive feedback.

• Managing classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policies.

• Working collaboratively with colleagues within the department and across the school.

• Contributing to the wider life of the school.

The Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate will:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), or have relevant teaching experience.

• Have experience teaching Business and/or ICT at secondary level.

• Be passionate about delivering engaging and relevant lessons.

• Have strong classroom management skills.

• Be reliable, approachable and professional.

• Be able to build positive relationships with students and colleagues.
