Tradewind Recruitment is currently looking to recruit Cover Supervisors to support primary and secondary schools across Daventry and the surrounding areas. We work closely with a wide range of schools and are looking for reliable, confident and enthusiastic individuals who can step into the classroom and provide high-quality support when teachers are unavailable.

As a Cover Supervisor, you may be responsible for delivering pre-prepared lessons, managing classroom behaviour, supporting pupils with their learning and ensuring a positive and purposeful learning environment. The role can offer a great level of variety, with opportunities to work across different year groups and school settings depending on your experience and preferences.

What we're looking for:

• Previous experience working with children or young people is desirable
• Experience in a school, youth work, tutoring, sports coaching, mentoring or similar environment would be beneficial
• Confident managing groups of pupils and maintaining positive behaviour
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A calm, patient and approachable manner
• The ability to follow lesson plans and instructions effectively
• Reliable, adaptable and professional
• A genuine interest in supporting children and young people to succeed
