A Catholic primary school in Chiswick is looking for a committed and enthusiastic KS2 Teacher to join its team from January 2027 on a full-time, long-term basis, with the role running through to the end of the academic year.

The school has a strong Catholic ethos, with an emphasis on developing pupils academically, socially and spiritually. Staff work collaboratively to provide a supportive learning environment where children are encouraged to develop confidence, independence and respect for others.

This is an opportunity for a teacher to take responsibility for a KS2 class, deliver engaging lessons across the curriculum and contribute to the wider life of a Catholic school community.

The Role

You'll be responsible for teaching a KS2 class, planning and delivering lessons across the curriculum and supporting pupils' academic and personal development.

Responsibilities include:

• Planning and delivering engaging lessons across the KS2 curriculum.
• Teaching English, maths and foundation subjects.
• Assessing pupil progress and adapting lessons to meet different learning needs.
• Establishing clear classroom routines and maintaining positive behaviour.
• Supporting pupils to develop independence, confidence and a positive attitude towards learning.
• Working collaboratively with colleagues to share planning, resources and ideas.
• Contributing to the school's Catholic ethos and wider school life.

Who Should Apply?

You'll need:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Primary teaching experience, ideally within KS2.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.

• A positive, flexible approach and the ability to work as part of a team.
• An understanding of and willingness to support the school's Catholic ethos.
