Primary Teacher - Southport
Location: Southport, Sefton
Start Date: October 2026
Contract: Full-Time - Autumn Term, with potential to continue

Tradewind Recruitment are looking for a strong and experienced Primary Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive primary school in Southport from October 2026.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident teacher to work across KS1 & KS2 for the Autumn Term, with the potential for the role to continue beyond Christmas for the right candidate.

The school has a supportive leadership team, positive learning environment and strong commitment to pupil progress. They are looking for a teacher who can hit the ground running, establish positive relationships quickly and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons.

The successful candidate will:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Have recent UK primary teaching experience
  • Be a confident classroom practitioner with strong behaviour management
  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons that meet the needs of all pupils
  • Build positive relationships with children, staff and parents
  • Be reliable, adaptable and ready to make an immediate impact
