Role Summary

As a Primary Teacher, you will deliver engaging lessons, maintain positive classroom environments and support pupils' academic and personal development.
Assignments may include:
  • Daily supply teaching.
  • Short-term sickness and absence cover.
  • Long-term teaching placements.
  • Class teaching across the primary age range.
  • Opportunities within inclusive mainstream primary schools.

Candidate Requirements

To be considered for these opportunities, you must have:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
  • Recent experience teaching within a primary school setting.
  • A good understanding of the primary curriculum.
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
  • The ability to create positive, inclusive and engaging learning environments.
  • Flexibility to work across different year groups where required.

Pay and Progression

Daily supply rates of £160-£170 per day, paid weekly via PAYE.
Rates are determined by a combination of qualifications, recent UK primary teaching experience, the age phase being taught (EYFS, KS1 or KS2), and the requirements of the individual assignment.
To be considered for work at this pay range, candidates must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification and have recent experience teaching within a primary school setting.
The highest daily rate of £170 per day is typically available to teachers with strong recent classroom experience, the flexibility to work across multiple year groups, and a proven ability to deliver high-quality teaching in a range of school environments.
