Are you an enthusiastic and committed Religious Studies Teacher looking for a new opportunity in a welcoming and supportive school?

We are delighted to be working with a lovely mainstream secondary school based near Dudley, who are seeking an inspiring RS Teacher to join their team from mid-November on a maternity cover basis.

The school has a positive and inclusive ethos, with a strong focus on supporting both students and staff. They are looking for a teacher who can deliver engaging and thought-provoking RS lessons, inspire students across the ability range, and become a valued member of the department.

The Role

  • Teaching Religious Studies across Key Stages 3 and 4

  • Planning and delivering engaging, challenging and inclusive lessons

  • Supporting students to achieve their academic potential

  • Contributing positively to the wider life of the school

  • Working collaboratively with colleagues within the department and across the school

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a teacher who:

  • Has experience teaching RS within a secondary school setting

  • Holds QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification

  • Is passionate about their subject and committed to raising achievement

  • Can build positive relationships with students and colleagues

  • Has high expectations of behaviour and learning

  • Is enthusiastic, reliable and keen to become part of a supportive school community
