Are you an experienced Art & Design Teacher looking for flexible work in secondary schools? Tradewind Recruitment are currently looking for passionate and reliable Art & Design Teachers to support secondary schools across Bristol on a day-to-day and longer-term supply basis.

  • Do you hold QTS or are you an ECT with relevant teaching experience?
  • Are you confident planning and delivering engaging Art & Design lessons?

The Opportunity

As an Art & Design Teacher, you will support secondary schools across Bristol, delivering engaging lessons across the Art & Design curriculum. You may be required to teach across different year groups and abilities, helping pupils develop their creativity, technical skills and confidence.

Your Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging Art & Design lessons across KS3 and KS4
  • Teach a range of artistic techniques and creative processes
  • Prepare pupils for GCSE Art & Design where required
  • Maintain strong behaviour management and classroom routines
  • Assess and provide constructive feedback on pupils' work
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Adapt teaching to meet the needs of different abilities
  • Work across different secondary schools on a flexible basis
