Position: Full Time Behaviour Mentor

Type of School: Secondary SEND School (EBD / SEMH)

Working Hours: Monday to Friday 08:30am - 4pm

An amazing SEN School located in Tower Hamlets is currently looking for a Behaviour Mentor to join their supportive and care staffing team on a full time basis.

The Role

• Provide 1:1 and small group mentoring to students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs.
• Implement school behaviour management policies, de-escalation strategies and emotional regulation techniques.
• Act as a positive role model.
• Collaborate closely with Teachers, SENCo and teh Safeguarding Team.

Candidate Requirements

• Previous experience working with children with SEMH needs in a school, youth or care setting
• A calm and resilient approach to support and any possible challening situations
• An enhanced DBS
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to form rapport with stduents

This role is paid weekly on a PAYE basis.
