Tradewind Recruitment are proud to be supporting the recruitment of a Year 2 Class Teacher for a one-form-entry community Primary School based based in the borough of Lambeth.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Year 2 Teacher seeking a long-term contract, or, their next permanent role. We can offer a 12 week temp to perm, meaning, you can assess the contract before committing permanently - if you are happy, you can join the school as a permanent member of staff in as little as 3 months!

The Role

You will take on full class teacher responsibilities, including planning, preparation and delivery of engaging lessons, assessment and supporting the wider needs of your pupils.

The school is looking for someone who:

  • Has strong experience teaching across KS1, with specific Year 2 experience.
  • Has a secure understanding of the Year 2 curriculum.
  • Can confidently take full responsibility for a class and hit the ground running.
  • Is committed to creating a positive, engaging learning environment.
  • Works well as part of a supportive school team.
  • Reliable and consistent
  • Able to build an excellent rapport with pupils

Pay

This position is offered to Teachers within the Main Pay Scale (MPS1 - MPS6), equivalent to £213.99 - £277.59 per in a daily rate equivalent via PAYE on a weekly basis.

ECTs will be offered MPS1 with pay scale offers based on experience.
