Looking for a career where your ambition drives your earnings?
At Tradewind Recruitment, we're looking for ambitious, resilient and commercially minded people to join our London team as Trainee Recruitment Consultants.
You don't need a degree, previous recruitment experience or a background in sales. What matters is your attitude, work ethic and willingness to learn.
Whether you're a recent graduate, have some sales experience, are looking to break into a commercial career or want to take the next step in a customer-facing role, this could be your opportunity to build a career with genuine earning potential and clear progression.
But let's be clear: recruitment isn't an easy job.
It's a fast-paced, target-driven sales environment where you'll need to handle rejection, pick up the phone, build relationships, negotiate and consistently work towards results. There will be challenging days, demanding targets and plenty to learn.
If you're competitive, resilient, motivated by success and prepared to put in the work, the rewards can be significant.
What will you be doing?
You'll specialise in education recruitment, working with schools across London to connect them with talented teachers and education support staff.
You'll learn how to build and manage your own recruitment desk, developing the skills needed to become a successful recruitment consultant and salesperson.
Your role will involve:
- Building relationships: Developing strong relationships with candidates and education professionals.
- Candidate generation: Sourcing, interviewing and matching candidates to opportunities.
- Sales and business development: Learning how to identify opportunities, win new clients and develop school partnerships.
- Negotiation and influencing: Managing conversations, overcoming objections and finding solutions that work for clients and candidates.
- Working towards targets: Taking ownership of your performance, developing your commercial skills and earning commission.
- Managing the detail: Coordinating interviews, maintaining accurate records and ensuring recruitment compliance.
You'll initially focus on candidate generation, recruitment processes and compliance before developing your sales and business development skills as you progress.
