SEND Teaching Assistant

Tradewind Recruitment are recruiting NOW for a warm, committed and patient SEND Teaching Assistant for a Tower Hamlets Primary School.

In this full-time role, 8.30Am - 15.30 Pm you will be supporting a delightful Reception child with Downs Syndrome.

Pay rates for this role are between £93- £100 PAYE, depending on relevant experience.

• Providing one-to-one support: Helping a Reception child access the curriculum, engage in play, and settle into school life.
• Managing personal care: Assisting the child with toileting and nappy changing with dignity, care, and respect.
• Building confidence: Working closely with the class teacher to adapt activities, helping the child build independence and communication skills.
• Creating a safe space: Offering a reassuring, consistent presence so the child feels secure and valued throughout the school day.

As the successful Teaching Assistant you will be joining a happy and popular two -form entry Primary School in Tower Hamlets.

The school are looking for someone who wants a full-time, ongoing role in a Tower Hamlets Primary school.

Candidates will be subject to the usual checks , including Child only DBS and 5 years of referencing.
