The school provides an opportunity to work with secondary-aged pupils at different stages of their learning, supporting them as they progress towards their GCSE examinations.

The Role

• Teaching Maths across KS3 and KS4, including GCSE preparation.

• Planning and delivering engaging lessons that make mathematical concepts accessible to pupils of different abilities.

• Developing pupils' confidence in numeracy, problem-solving and mathematical reasoning.

• Monitoring progress and adapting teaching approaches to help pupils overcome difficulties and achieve their targets.

• Maintaining positive classroom behaviour and creating an environment where pupils feel supported and encouraged to learn.

• Working alongside colleagues to share good practice and support consistent standards across the department.

About You

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.

• Experience teaching Maths within a secondary school.

• Strong subject knowledge and confidence delivering the KS3 and KS4 curriculum.

• Effective classroom management and the ability to motivate and engage pupils.

• A positive, adaptable approach and a commitment to helping pupils succeed.
