Role Details

Location: Chelmsford
Working Pattern: Full-time
Contract: Long term, Temporary to permanent option there as well.
Salary: Main Pay Scale (MPS) + Upper Pay scale
Parking: On-site parking available

The Role

Plan and deliver engaging Maths lessons that develop students' understanding and confidence in mathematics.
Teach mathematical concepts across relevant key stages, adapting lessons to suit different abilities and learning needs.
Inspire students to develop their problem-solving, analytical and numerical skills.
Monitor student progress, assess learning and implement strategies to support academic achievement.
Maintain high standards of teaching, learning and classroom management.
Work collaboratively with colleagues to support student achievement and wellbeing.

The Ideal Candidate

Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an appropriate recognised equivalent, where applicable.
Has strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for Mathematics.
Demonstrates effective classroom management and inclusive teaching practices.
Can deliver engaging lessons that challenge and motivate students of varying abilities.
Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
Is enthusiastic about helping students reach their full potential.
