Year 6 Teacher - Wythenshawe
Full-Time | January - June 2027

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a passionate and dedicated Year 6 Teacher for a welcoming primary school in Wythenshawe. This is a full-time position starting in January 2027 and running until June 2027, offering a fantastic opportunity to support pupils through their final year of primary school.

The Role:

  • Deliver engaging and effective lessons across the Year 6 curriculum.

  • Prepare pupils for their SATs, building their confidence and ensuring they are ready for the transition to secondary school.

  • Use assessment to monitor progress and adapt teaching to meet pupils' individual needs.

  • Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment with high expectations for learning and behaviour.

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to support pupils' academic progress and wellbeing.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

  • Has experience teaching in KS2, ideally within Year 6.

  • Is confident delivering the upper KS2 curriculum and preparing pupils for SATs.

  • Has strong classroom management skills and can motivate pupils to achieve their potential.

  • Is committed to providing high-quality teaching and supporting every child to succeed.
