Visit us at REAL Trust’s Annual Leadership conference

2018-11-01

We’ll be exhibiting at Rochdale Education and Learning (REAL) Trust’s Annual Leadership conference this November and it would be great to see you there.

The two-day event will include a series of talks on leadership and management and is designed to provide school staff with the chance to refresh and update their skill sets.

Covering the Rochdale and Greater Manchester region, the talks will take place at Blackburn’s Dunkenhalgh Hotel and Spa on the afternoon of Thursday 8 November and across the day on Friday 9 November.

REAL Trust provides a range of training courses, conferences, learning groups and talks relating to governance, management and other influential topics on education.

What to expect

Several key speakers will address the event, addressing new developments and looking ahead to what may influence the education sector in the future.

Writer and journalist Fiona Miller will kick-start proceedings by looking at 30 years of education policy since the 1988 Education Act, before moving onto what the next three decades may hold.

Actor Graham Tudor will explore making the impossible happen on Friday morning, looking at the influence of teachers on his life and on promoting messages of hope.

And finally, former Great Britain cyclist, now coach, Tim Buckle will complete the talks with a look at how to be happier and more successful in life, both at a professional and personal level.

Part of his talk will focus on The Chimp Model, a mind management model designed to help people to be more confident, healthier, happier and more successful.

If you’re attending the REAL Trust’s Annual Leadership conference this year, come and say hello!
