Full-Time 1:1 Teaching Assistant
Are you passionate about making a difference in a child's life? Do you have experience working with students with Social, Emotional, Mental Health (SEMH) needs? If so, we want YOU to join our client school's dynamic team!
About the Role:
As a dedicated 1:1 Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting a child within Year 3 who has SEMH needs. Your compassionate and firm approach will empower this student to thrive academically and emotionally. The school is located Haringey, close to seven sisters station.
Responsibilities Include:
- Providing tailored support to the student to meet their individual needs
- Implementing strategies to promote positive behavior and emotional well-being
- Collaborating with teachers and other staff to create a supportive learning environment
- Monitoring and tracking the student's progress and reporting back to the SENCO
We are seeking individuals who have:
- Previous experience working with children with SEMH needs
- A compassionate and caring demeanor, coupled with firmness when necessary
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- A commitment to promoting inclusion and diversity in the classroom
