Are you a Level 2 Teaching Assistant looking for a full time long term contract?

Tradewind Preston are delighted to be working with an 'Good' Primary School in Wigan to recruit an experienced SEN Specialist Teaching Assistant who has experience of working with children with autism and profound learning difficulties. This position will be on a 1:2:1 basis in a Year 2 class and will begin after October half term to cover a Maternity Cover.

The successful candidate will work closely with staff and children to provide high quality in-class support, as well as leading targeted interventions and support for pupils. The ideal candidate for this role will have had a minimum of 12 months experience. Experience delivering small group and 1:1 intervention, with a proven track record of raising pupil attainment is essential for this role.

As SEN Teaching Assistant, you shall have previous experience in a similar role and have a confident and positive approach, demonstrating care, patience and understanding towards young children with a genuine passion to ensure each student strives to reach their full potential.

This two form entry Primary school has recently had a refurbishment and has state of the art facilities for all departments. You will be working with a dedicated and caring team who regularly share ideas and best practice. The School is located in Wigan and is easily accessible via public transport and motorway links. The school has free parking on site for drivers.
