Art and Digital Media Technician


This is a long-term role in a Secondary School based in Plumstead starting as soon as possible and concluding at the end of the academic year at a rate of £11/hour. This will be a 35 hour/week, term time plus 1 week role.
The successful candidate will join a supportive and friendly Art department with prospects of professional development and growth.

We are looking for:
*A candidate with UK classroom experience
*Proactive candidates who are keen to meet and exceed department goals
*Appropriate Art and Design qualifications (GCSE/A level).
*Someone with experience creating web content and copy.
*A candidate who is familiar with up to date safeguarding policies and procedures
*Someone within daily commuting distance from Plumstead
*A candidate with a DBS on the Update Service or a willingness to participate in a DBS check

The Role:
*The candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day technical support in the Art Department.
*Creating and updating consistent content on the school's social media, website and online platforms.
