We are currently seeking a committed Nursery Teaching Assistant to contribute to the vibrant learning environment of our school. This presents an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping the foundation learning experiences of children.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the nursery teacher in designing and implementing engaging and developmentally appropriate activities tailored for children aged 3-4 years.
  • Actively participate in play-based activities, both indoors and outdoors, to support children learning experiences.
  • Cultivate positive relationships with children, parents/carers, and colleagues, fostering a supportive and inclusive learning atmosphere.
  • Propel children's social, emotional, and cognitive development through meaningful interactions and purposeful activities.
  • Assist in the daily routines of the nursery, managing meal times, toileting, and nap periods while ensuring the health and safety of all children.

Requirements:

  • Genuine passion for working with young children and aiding in their holistic development.
  • Preferred experience in an early years setting, though not mandatory.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with children, parents/carers, and colleagues.
  • Possession of NVQ level 3 or equivalent.
  • Patient, nurturing, and empathetic approach to working with young children.
  • Ability to collaborate within a team, contributing to a positive and harmonious work environment.
  • Dedication to promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion across all aspects of nursery life.
