Job Title: Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)

Are you an experienced HLTA seeking a full-time role in a dynamic primary school environment? We are looking for a dedicated and skilled individual to join our team and make a positive impact on the education of our students.

Job Description: As a full-time HLTA, you will play a key role in supporting teaching and learning across the school. Your previous experience as a HLTA will be essential in fulfilling the responsibilities of this role, which may include leading lessons, supporting teachers, and providing additional assistance to students as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead small group activities and interventions to support student learning.
  • Assist teachers in planning and delivering engaging lessons.
  • Provide support and guidance to other teaching assistants and support staff.
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback to teachers.
  • Contribute to the overall development and success of the school.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a HLTA is essential.
  • Relevant qualifications and training in education or related field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Passion for supporting the learning and development of children.
  • Hold an enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to undertake a new one.
