Hours: Full-time, 8:30 am - 3:30 pm

Job Description: Tradewind Recruitment is currently seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our team for a full-time Early Years support role in a mainstream primary school located in Ashton in Makerfield, Wigan (WN4). The ideal candidate will have previous experience working with children aged 2-5 years old and be passionate about supporting their educational development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Providing support and assistance to the Early Years team in delivering high-quality educational activities.
• Assisting with the implementation of individualised learning plans for students.
• Supporting children with their personal care needs as required.
• Collaborating with teachers and other staff members to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Engaging children in educational and recreational activities to promote their social and cognitive development.

Requirements:

• Previous experience working with children aged 2-5 years old is essential.
• Relevant qualifications in childcare or education are preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with young children.
