Job Title: Level 3 Teaching Assistant

Hours: 8:30 am - 3:30pm
Are you a dedicated and enthusiastic Level 3 Teaching Assistant looking for an exciting opportunity to make a real impact on early years education? Tradewind Recruitment are currently seeking a Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join a dynamic team at a primary school in Sheffield. The role will involve working with students within a Nursery class.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Level 3 Teaching Assistant your primary responsibilities will include:
- Individual Support: Offer one-to-one assistance for students who require additional help.
- Whole Class Support: Providing support for the class under the direction of the class teacher.
- Behaviour Management: Contribute to maintaining a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Assessment and Reporting: Assist in the assessment of students' progress and contribute to written reports.
- Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the teaching team, parents, and external professionals to support the overall development of students.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Leve 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
- Previous experience working as a teaching assistant in a primary school setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A passion for education and the well-being of students.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Experience working with non-verbal students with sensory support,
Working Hours:
This is a full-time position, with the working hours from 8:30 am to 3.30pm.
Location:
The position is based in Sheffield, providing a convenient and accessible location for both residents and commuters.
