Maths Teacher

Role: Full time, Long term

Tradewind Recruitment are working with a SEMH School in Liverpool to recruit a full time Maths Teacher to working with Key Stage 3 and 4. The Ofsted rated 'Good' school supports male children aged from 11 to 16 years old with Social, Emotional and Mental Health Needs. The support children by offering both academic and vocational courses to provide every child the opportunity to thrive.

Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare and deliver engaging and effective Maths lessons.
• Differentiate lessons and activities to meet the diverse learning needs of students.
• Maintain an inclusive classroom environment.
• Assess and record student progress.
• Collaborate with other staff members and external agencies where necessary.
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians.
• Participate in professional development opportunities.

Requirements:

• Hold QTS in Maths.
• Experience working with young people with SEND/SEMH.
• Right to work in the UK
• A DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one).
• 2 professional references.
