Tradewind Manchester are actively looking for a part-time Nursery teacher for a Catholic School in Rochdale. This is a part-time post as the school only offers a part time nursery. The role will be mornings only and hours will be 8am through till 12:30pm. The role is scheduled to start in September, all things being well.The contract is for 12 months with the possibility of a full time permanent position at the end of the temporary contract.

About the school
We are recruiting for a part-time Nursery teacher (mornings only) on behalf of a small Roman Catholic Voluntary Aided Primary school in Rochdale. Currently, the school has 240 pupils on roll, 20 of which are in the part-time Nursery. The school has a 'good' rating from Ofsted when last inspected in 2016. Results last year were slightly above the national and LEA average, however average progress scores for Reading Maths and Writing were well above average nationally and locally which indicates what a great job the school are doing. The school is friendly, inclusive and diverse taking in children for a wide variety of ethnic backgrounds. The school currently has over 20 languages spoken in the school. The Head teacher is friendly and supportive and realises that people are the schools most important asset.

The school is based in Rochdale, with excellent public transport links and ample private parking available.

About the role
This OFSTED 'good' primary school (2016) are looking for an innovative and inspirational teacher to teach in Nursery. The role will start in September and will be mornings only, five days a week. Given the extraordinary circumstances, this will be a challenging role initially until things return to some sense of normality. As a result the school are looking for someone with extensive EYFS experience who will be able to hit the ground running in September. Good communication skills will be needed to give clear direction to the team, parents and children.
There are currently 20 children (subject to change in September) in the Nursery and you will have additional support with a minimum of 3 teaching assistants. This is a warm, friendly and inclusive school with a team of staff working together to ensure the children get the best possible education.
There will be a real focus on the transition between EYFS and Yr1 to ensure the children are achieving national levels of attainment as they move into the main school. The Head teacher has put a lot of emphasis on ensuring a good work life balance which she sees as being key to staff moral and harmony within the school.
As a Classroom Teacher, you will have the support of a cohesive and committed team of teachers and SLT who work collaboratively to maintain high standards and expectations, plus:
