We are seeking passionate individuals to join as PMLD Support Staff, working with pupils across ages 3-19.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide tailored support to students with PMLD in various settings within the school.
  • Assist with personal care, including feeding, toileting, and hygiene tasks.
  • Implement individualised education and therapy plans under the guidance of teaching staff.
  • Support students in accessing the curriculum and engaging in learning activities.
  • Foster a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment for all students.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with individuals with PMLD or similar disabilities is preferred.
  • A compassionate and patient approach to working with children with complex needs.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
  • A willingness to undergo training and development relevant to the role.
  • A DBS check (or willingness to obtain one) is required for this position.
