Position: Primary Teacher for PPA Cover (Year 4-6)

Location: Nottinghamshire

Days: Mondays and Wednesdays

Start Date: 15th April

Are you a dedicated and passionate primary school teacher looking for an exciting opportunity? We are recruiting on behalf of a Primary Academy, who are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join the team as a PPA Cover Teacher for Year 4-6 students. This position is for Mondays and Wednesdays, providing an excellent opportunity for someone looking to supplement their teaching schedule or seeking part-time employment.

Responsibilities:

• Delivering pre-prepared lessons to classes in the absence of the regular class teacher.
• Ensuring a positive and engaging learning environment for students.
• Managing classroom behaviour effectively.
• Collaborating with colleagues to ensure continuity of learning.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Experience teaching primary-aged children.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
• Reliable and punctual.

Desirable Skills:

• Experience with Year 4-6 curriculum.
• Previous experience covering PPA time.
• Knowledge of differentiated instruction techniques.
