Tradewind Recruitment are working with an outstanding special school in the Dudley area that caters for pupils aged 4 to 19. The school specialises in profound and multiple learning difficulties and autism. We are looking for an experienced Teacher with a passion to teach pupils with special needs.

This role is for Monday - Friday from 8:30 to 3:30 on a long-term basis starting the 3rd week of September for a Maternity Contract. You will be working with KS2 pupils with severe learning difficulties and some on the autism spectrum. The class is made up of 4 Teaching Assistants and a HLTA who are all experienced and familiar with the class. The school is based in a great part of Dudley with a secure onsite free park, it is also accessible via good transport links.

The school aims to provide a supportive education program that is customised to the needs of their students so that students can work to the best of their abilities. Prior to starting the long term, you will be invited in to the school to familiarise yourself with the class and resources available.

We are looking for a Teacher who is dedicated and passionate about supporting pupils with complex needs and autism.

To be considered you will need
*UK QTS (any specialism)
*Experience in teaching pupils with autism and SLD.
*A passion to teach pupils with additional needs
*Experience in managing teaching assistants
