Primary Teacher (Year 1/2) - Part-Time (3 Days a Week)

Location: South Sheffield

Start Date: September 2024

Contract: Fixed-Term (One Academic Year)

Are you a passionate and dedicated Primary Teacher looking for an exciting opportunity in South Sheffield? Our small primary school is seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a part-time Primary Teacher for a mixed Year 1/2 class. This role is available three days a week, specifically Monday to Wednesday, and involves job sharing with another established teacher.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and inspiring lessons to a mixed Year 1/2 class.
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons in line with the KS1 curriculum.
  • Provide a nurturing and inclusive learning environment where every child can thrive.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback to both students and parents.
  • Collaborate effectively with the job-sharing teacher to ensure continuity and coherence in teaching.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Confidence and proficiency in delivering the Key Stage 1 curriculum.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a job-sharing arrangement.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A commitment to the holistic development and well-being of every child.
