Barking and Dagenham SEN School, in partnership with Tradewind Recruitment, is seeking an enthusiastic and nurturing SEN Early Years Teacher with expertise in supporting children with Speech and Language Needs. The ideal candidate will have a warm and patient demeanor, a solid understanding of early childhood development, and experience in speech therapy techniques.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver developmentally appropriate lessons to support speech and language development
• Implement individualised strategies and interventions for students with communication difficulties
• Collaborate with speech therapists and other professionals to create a comprehensive support plan
• Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment
• Engage parents in their child's learning journey and provide resources for home support

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field (Master's preferred)
• SEN teaching certification
• Experience working with young children with Speech and Language Needs
• Knowledge of early childhood development and speech therapy techniques
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
