Role Overview: We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated SEN Teacher to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our staff, you will play a pivotal role in delivering tailored education and support to our pupils, ensuring they receive the care and attention they deserve.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons that cater to the diverse needs of our students.
- Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters learning and growth.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and external agencies to provide holistic support to pupils.
- Monitor and track pupil progress, providing feedback and implementing interventions as needed.
- Contribute to the overall ethos and development of the school community.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience working with children with SEMH difficulties is highly desirable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A commitment to promoting the well-being and academic success of every child.
To be considered for this position you will:
- have previous school experience and be familiar with the SIMS system
- Be a committed professional
- Be an organised, enthusiastic proactive person
-Hold a child workforce enhanced DBS certificate which is on the update service, or be willing to apply for a new one (costs refunded back to you when you complete 20 days work)
-have satisfactory references
-have a CV must that covers the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any gaps in employment must be explained;
