The SEN teaching assistant roles are to start ASAP and will continue until the end of the academic year July although there is scope to continue into the next academic year if you get on well.

The roles are full time, five days per week. Hours are 8.30am - 4pm.

The headteacher is keen to employ SEN Teaching Assistants who have experience and skills supporting children with special educational needs. You must be someone who is confident interact with children and would like to work in a primary school.

The roles will involve supporting a range of pupils who need additional support around literacy, reading, communication, maths.

Your role will consist of 1-1 support, focused intervention groups and whole classroom support.

The school is looking for a SEN Teaching Assistant who:

*Has a good academic background
*Is interested in a teaching career or a career in special needs support
*Commitment to the school and open to development
*Able to think creatively and adapt to new situations

The person

This roles requires someone who is:

*Experienced supporting children who have special educational needs
*Able to work 1-1 and manage small groups
*Strong literacy and communication skills
*If you have a background in SEN or therapeutic support the headteacher is particularly keen to hear from you!
