Tradewind Recruitment are currently looking for SEN Teaching Assistant to join an all-through SEN school in Haringey. You will be working with 4-19 year olds with various special educational needs and disabilities. This is a full time, long-term role starting after Easter for the rest of the academic year. There is scope to extend into September or go on to a permanent contract.

As a SEN Teaching Assistant you will be responsible for the below:

· Supporting SEN students in small groups and on a 1:1 basis

· Encouraging and promoting student engagement in learning activities

· Contributing to support plans and strategies to meet the needs of each student

· Collaborating with staff, parents/carers, and outside agencies

· Monitoring and recording student progress and achievements

To join us and be successful in this role you will ideally need :

· Previous experience working with children with SEN

· An Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks

· CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible

· Legal right to work in the UK
