SEN / Behaviour Specialist Teaching Assistant for a Wigan SEN School to start ASAP.

Tradewind Recruitment is currently looking for an experienced SEN / Behaviour Specialist Teaching Assistant L2 or L3 to work in a very challenging but rewarding SEN School within Wigan working with EYFS - KS2. The role is to start immediately and will be until the end of the academic year.

This School works with SEN, EBSD, SEMH, Medical and Behaviour EYFS - Key Stage 2 pupils who have been permanently excluded from mainstream settings. The SEN School has small class sizes of between 8 - 12 pupils and are looking for a SEN / Behaviour Specialist Teaching Assistant to work on a 1-2-1 and small group sizes across EYFS to KS2. This school is currently looking for 2x SEN 1:1 Teaching Assistants and 1x Behavioural Specialised Teaching Assistant.

For this role you will need:
*Teaching Assistant L2 or L3 qualification or equivalent
*minimum of 2 years experience working with children with SEN or Behaviour needs
*Experienced working in an SEN or EBSD setting or on a 1-2-1 with challenging behaviour
*Team Teach or positive restraint training is preferred but not essential
*Experience providing 1:1 and small group support in a challenging behaviour environment

The school is easily accessible via public transport and is close to the M6 motorway link.
